Inbredward Meaning
Depending on where you spend time online, you might have seen the term "Inbredward" thrown around a bit. According to slang expert Tobi Nwodo, the term is "used as a joking term to mock someone's actions online, usually after [they’ve done] something stupid or funny.”[1]
The term is often used alongside an image of the character Squidward from SpongeBob Squarepants making a goofy face with buckteeth. Hence the portmanteau of "Squidward" and "inbred." Suffice to say, it's not a very nice thing to be called, but at the same time, it's all part of the banter and choptalk of the internet. While you should be careful how you use it, it's not that serious, and all in good fun.
Similar slang terms:
- Chopped: This is used to refer to someone or something that's unattractive or ugly.
- Washed: A slang term used to say that someone or something isn't as good as it used to be.
- Cooked: Used to mean that someone or something is done for, or is about to face consequences they can't avoid.
- Goofy ahh: A version of "goofy-ass," it's used to say that something is unserious or lame.
