Cassandra “Cas” Ray is a zoologist, wildlife educator, and conservation communicator based in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has worked in wildlife education, conservation outreach, and field research across the United States, Africa, Belize, Baja California, and beyond, with experience ranging from marine conservation and freshwater ecology to ambassador animal training and public engagement. Cas currently works in conservation travel and environmental education, helping connect audiences to wildlife through ethical storytelling, hands-on experiences, and digital media. Her work focuses heavily on conservation psychology and fostering empathy for misunderstood species, particularly invertebrates and other overlooked wildlife. Through her platform @casanimaladventures, she shares wildlife education, ethical conservation travel, and behind-the-scenes experiences as a travel zoologist, reaching audiences through storytelling, field experiences, and conservation advocacy.
