How do you choose what colors to wear in the winter?
I think the standard fall-into-winter colors are darker greens like hunter, blacks, navies, and gray, but I also believe in bringing bright colors into the winter season because it can be drab sometimes. Bring in a bright red, bright pink, or a jewel tone to really punch up the winter blues. I’m not a particular fan of pastels in the winter, so I’d steer clear of pastels. But I am a fan of white in the wintertime! I wouldn’t wear white gauze pants in the winter, but I would wear a white wool sweater or white wool dress. I’ve even seen white denim paired with brown boots and a brown sweater, and then a brown/white scarf to make up a nice, cozy outfit.
