What are some fun things I can do as a domestic cat therian?
I´m a school girl, a domestic cat therian, but i cannot tell my parents about my therianthropy. What are some ways to express my therianthropy without giving it away to my parents?

There are many things you could do to express or connect with your theriotype, just depending on what you like! You can express your theriotype through food, gear, activities, small habits, etc. Gear is the most common one, and despite popular assumption, it doesn’t have to be super obvious like a mask or tail. It could be a necklace, a plushie, shoes, some gloves, or maybe even a jacket that reminds you of your theriotypes fur pattern. I even have a pair of pants I consider gear because it makes me feel more animalistic. It can be anything that you associate with your identity and theriotype.
I’m someone who also likes theriotype-inspired snacks, so you could make snacks inspired by cats! Fish, shrimp, lunch meat, warm sweet milk, biscuits or cookies that resemble kitty treats, etc! So long as it’s safe for human consumption, have fun with it!
You could also do bird watching, cats love that! Another thing I personally love is watching documentaries on my theriotype. For physical activity, I recommend something like parkour that involves a lot of jumping around. You could also try rock climbing or going to a park and hopping around things. Sometimes, just going on hikes to feel the wind on your face as you listen to the trees rustle is nice. Anything that makes you feel in tune with your cat theriotype! It can be super fun to get creative with it. There’s so much you can come up with; most critters don’t realize how many possibilities there are.

I am a proponent of lying in the sun. As a cat, I understand lying in the sun is just the best way to waste away an afternoon. I also recommend trying to eat foods that represent what cats like to eat, like fish or rabbit. You could find scratching posts and cat toys to play with. Also, go to an aquarium and watch the fish. That's so much fun!

One thing about therianthropy is that therian gear can be literally anything. Something I recommend is getting keychains and putting them on your backpack, like a cat paw keychain or a cat stuffed animal keychain. You could also get wall hangings or posters of things you enjoy, maybe a cat poster or paw prints. You can also wear outfits that are the color palette of your cat. For example, if you are a black and white cat, you can wear a black and white outfit, maybe even a fur jacket. It’s a subtle way to show the colors of your domestic cat theriotype.

Can I wear nightgowns (I have sensory issues) or bright clothes and still be a cat therian? Sorry to hack your post lol. One thing I like to do is make a blanket nest and make biscuits (knead) and purr/meow :333

do quas in ur room or like, idk.. try making mask ideas. and if you want real gear and your parets dont know and ur trying to tell them like, say ur friend is a therian or a furry and she how they react or "acsidently" send them a therian video instead of your homework or smt.

I would ask for supplies to make masks for "cosplay" and do quads in your room, and also find an online community where you can talk to other therians (if you have access to that stuff)

From someone who is also a domestic cat therian, I’d say just do quads in your bedroom or outside in a private area, or explore in the woods (if you live around an area where an forest is with you)

you can do goofy quads in private and get a choker (like a collar). you could get a sneaky tail and shove it in your wardrobe as long as they're not snoopy. if u want u can tell me WHY you cant tell them so i can do a better answer hehe. you cant really have a mask because theyre delicate and obvious and cant be shoved in a cupboard but you can try/ keep it somewhere safe.

if you think they will support text them while at a sleepover or something and give them a couple of days b4 you come back for them to think. make it detailed and explain common misconeptions so they dont crash out. if you think they won't support legit don't tell them everything will be a lot harder and they will be suspicious of anything you do after and JUDGE you
don't tell them if:
they are really religious
don't support other different people like furries and the lgbtq+
you could pretend you have a friend who is one and see how they react
hope this helped!

You can do quads/ mask making when your parents aren't home, go over to a friend's house (who is a therian/supports you), or you can say you are cosplaying as a book character.
