“Quads” is short for “quadrobics,” which is the act of moving on all fours like an animal. A lot of therian content online, especially on TikTok, includes quadrobics.
Interestingly, quadrobics didn’t start with therians. It came from people who wanted to move like horses—think hobby horse communities and similar groups. So originally it was more like a sport or challenge. But therians liked the idea of moving like an animal and adopted it.
Now, quadrobics is common in therian spaces online, but it’s not required or inherently part of therianthropy. I can’t do quadrobics myself for physical reasons, but people still ask me to. It's just one way of expressing therian identity—it’s not a requirement.

Agreed :) Quads is just a short word for quadrobics, meaning running around or jumping on all fours.

Therian quads refers to quadrobics, which is the sport of moving on all fours. Some therians enjoy doing quadrobics because they feel it helps them connect with their theriotype. Quadrobics are not at all required for a therian to do, though, and anyone can do them even if they are not a therian.

Quads is short for quadobics and it’s really fun, but sometimes it can hurt your wrists and knees and ect. I have some advice for wrists tho, wear a glove to not only help your wrists, but your hands too. It helps if the grass has prickles.

You shouldn’t have to hide who you are we should be able to do what we please but society is harsh and forces these things upon people

you should feel proud of yourself for who you are and not feeling ashamed of being a therian, there should be no therian haters but there are going to be haters

I am a wolf therian. Me and my friend, a cat therian, do a lot of high and long-jumping. We every once in a while go out to a safe, secluded place in the woods and practice quads. It can hurt your hands sometimes, but I really suggest leather gloves, cut-proof gloves, or arm-warmers.

Im a Therian as well, I've never really done quads because I don't want to be loud, and I only really try to do it in my room or basement, but how could I land softer on my feet?

Do you land hands first or feet first? Your form could change how hard you land. You are supposed to land hands first. It takes practice so practice also.
