How do I get rid of fabric softener on wet clothing?

Wet the stain on your clothing with warm or hot water. Check the tag and use the hottest water safe for the item of clothing you're treating. Rub liquid detergent into the stain. Let it soak. Wash the garment in the hottest water that is safe. Dry the garment as normal.

Try Lysol. Its really great at removing stains other chemicals cannot. And the smell isn't as harsh as many other chemicals out there.
