How do I confess my feelings to someone?

i had this crush i met on 4th grade, and ive always wanted to confess to her, i liked her and she liked me, we were great friends from 4th to 5th grade, even though most of the time she was with her friends, now im at 7th grade, and im thinking of confessing to her, but i dont know how to tell her since im really shy, also she got out of her school and im studying at another school, so its been 2 years without seeing eachother face to face, how do i confess to her???
