What to do if your family does not support your hobbies related to being a therian
I live alone but my parents don't approve of my behavior, calling it "reckless". I'm convinced it is not reckless to go outside in the woods for a bit to have fun (Drawing, ect.). Recklessness is endangering yourself and/or the people around you. And I do neither

People are always telling me "Being a therian is bad for your mental health! Get a job, start a real life." And i'm wondering if it actually is.

Furries do not do sexaul things (I know, my friend is one), as of furries were created and started out sexual, but grey more innocent (As of 2026, sexual stuff are rarely seen.) That statement you are making is mostly false. (Just trying to clear things up.)

How to explain the difference between Therian and Furry?
The main differences: Therians (Such as myself) believe they are connected to an animal (Or believe they are one) and wear gear (Such as a mask and tail) of that animal, likely using faux fur. Furries are cosplayers of anthropomorphic animals, dogs, cats, ect. Nothing is wrong between the two, they are just a way of life.
