What does your RPG personality say about you?
This quiz is all about determining your ideal RPG playstyle, something that's best-suited for your personality. So, what are the different options? Take a look at each potential result below:
You're a Tank!
Another word for "Tank" is "Defender"—you're a protector at heart, using your superior vitality to soak up damage so your party members don't catch as many blows in combat. You're usually in the middle of the action, bringing the fight to your foes and, at the same time, preventing them from targeting your friends. You like to be absolutely covered in armor from head to toe (or just really, really buff), and you take pride in being a guardian for your fellow adventurers!
Tank classes in TTRPGs: Barbarian, Fighter, Paladin
You're a Healer!
You fall squarely under the "support class" category in RPGs. You're all about supporting your fellow party members, and you—unlike some—understand that buffing and healing the party is just as critical as dealing out damage to enemies! You're probably used to being a little underappreciated, but you're indispensable all the same, and you'd never leave your friends hanging. And even in the most challenging of battles, you're the one who ensures everyone makes it out alive!
Healer classes in TTRPGs: Cleric, Druid
You're a Melee Striker!
As a melee Striker, you're very hands-on and tend to face challenges directly. Your main goal? Slice and dice. Rather than soaking up damage like the Tank, you're just trying to clear the battlefield as fast as you can, and the more carnage in your wake, the happier you are. You're aggressive and proactive—you want to be on the front lines dealing out as much damage to enemies as you possibly can, and you do it with aplomb!
Melee Striker classes in TTRPGs: Fighter, Ranger, Rogue, Monk
You're a Ranged Striker!
You have the heart of a Striker (one of the party's main damage-dealers), but that doesn't mean you're in the thick of things. Rather, you prefer to hang back and unleash your wrath on enemies from afar! You're the one who can pick off threats the others might not notice, although you can sometimes get a tad competitive with your melee counterparts. No matter, though; you're just as important when it comes to taking out enemies in battle, and if you've got spellcraft on your side, you can probably eliminate whole groups at a time!
Ranged Striker classes in TTRPGs: Sorcerer, Warlock, Ranger, Rogue
You're a Controller!
As a Controller, you're all about manipulating the environment on a battlefield. You know that the key to victory doesn't always lie in straightforward combat and overwhelming force; there are plenty of ways to change a battlefield's environment in your favor, and you're a master of doing just that! Whether you're using charms to control enemies' movements or enlisting the help of nature itself to make the battlefield's terrain harder to navigate, you're a tactical pro with lots of area-affecting abilities!
Controller classes in TTRPGs: Wizard, Druid, Bard, Cleric
You're a Face!
Your role in combat is, honestly, secondary to you—what really excites you are roleplaying opportunities, and your role in social interactions! You're a negotiator, diplomat, and sometimes, a deciever; you prefer problem-solving with words over weapons, which is why you probably end up being your party's voice (or Face) more often than not. And, whether you gravitate more toward persuasion or subterfuge to get your way, you're a natural spokesperson!
Face classes in TTRPGs: Bard, Warlock, Sorcerer, Paladin, Rogue
You're a Shadow!
Combat? Basic. Conversation? Boring. You accomplish your goals from the shadows; you're the party's master of stealth, subterfuge, and infiltration. You're observant and insightful, as well as a top-notch investigator. In a fight, you have the unique ability to lurk unseen, surveying the battle and figuring out where you're most needed. And outside of combat, you're the one cracking safes, sneaking into places you aren't supposed to be—and picking up all the best loot, too!
Shadow classes in TTRPGs: Rogue, Bard, Ranger, Monk
You're a Scout!
You're someone who always likes to know what's coming next—you don't want to be taken by surprise. And when you have the chance to get the jump on an enemy, you take it! You're an ideal lookout, and you're great at keeping an eye out when the rest of the party is indisposed. You spot threats before they arrive (traps, ambushes, and natural obstacles included). That makes you a bit of a lone wolf, always roaming ahead of your fellow adventurers to scout, but it's the role you excel at!
