Soul Colors & Aura Colors

In this quiz, we match you with the color of your soul based on your personality and vibe, which is a similar concept (though not exactly the same!) as your aura—auras are a more generally accepted and well-known phenomenon in the spiritual community, and soul colors are more of a fun, creative way to categorize your personality. However, many of the same ideas and color interpretations apply, so we checked in with some of wikiHow's spirituality experts for their insights on auras and their colors, and here's what they had to say:

• Psychic medium & animal communicator Mari Cartagenova explains that your aura is "sort of your energy around you—it's almost like your spiritual energy from the inside sort of leaking out."
• Psychic medium Kelly Ferguson adds that auras aren't always just one color. "Someone's entire aura can be a color, or it can be, 'Here's some green over here and some yellow over here, and all of that,'" Ferguson explains.
• Psychic medium Joanna Cabot explains that red auras are associated with passion and intensity, so if you're in a strong emotional state, or even angry, your aura may appear red.
• Cabot adds that orange auras are "linked to motivation, self-confidence, creativity, and positivity."
• Psychic medium and spiritual teacher Melanie Sheree says that if someone has a pink aura, they're "really caring and compassionate towards other people. There's this really gentle nature...like a nurturing energy."
• Spiritual advisor & founder of Rainbow Raaja Emily Christensen explains that a blue aura is connected to openness. "Usually, when people are blue, they are being more open, they're being communicative," she says.
• Ferguson says a green aura is associated with healing, whether it's mental, physical, emotional, or spiritual.
• Cabot also mentions that yellow auras embody positivity and mental clarity. "People with yellow auras tend to be energetic, charming, driven, and outgoing," she adds.
