Iconic Cartoon Villains
In this quiz, we match you with the cartoon villain that fits your vibe best. Don't worry—we know you're not evil! There are positive traits and bright spots in any good villain, and that's what we based our results on. There are tons of iconic animated villains out there from both movies and TV shows, so we also created this fun round-up of some of our favorites, which you should totally check out when you're done taking this quiz! In the meantime, here's a little overview:
- Dr. Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb: This wacky and totally ineffective evil scientist brings tons of comedy to the show, and it's super fun to watch him try (and fail) to take over the Tri-State area again and again.
- Plankton from SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton is a tiny character with a huge personality, and he's incredibly devoted to his master plan: stealing the Krabby Patty formula and turning The Chum Bucket into a successful restaurant.
- Scar from The Lion King: You likely remember the moment you first encountered this devious villain. His betrayal of his brother Mufasa is a formative (and traumatic) memory for many Disney fans!
- Mojo Jojo from The Powerpuff Girls: This evil chimpanzee mastermind is an example of a villain with a compelling and sympathetic backstory—a chemical explosion left him with the burden of human emotions and superintelligence.
- Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender: Azula, daughter of the Fire Lord Ozai, is a ruthless villain and powerful opponent to Aang and his allies. She's under some heavy expectations though, which makes her very complex and compelling.
- Jafar from Aladdin: This evil sorcerer is the perfect embodiment of a manipulative schemer! While appearing to be the sultan's closest advisor, he's actually plotting to take the throne for himself.
- The Joker from Batman: The Animated Series: As his nickname "The Clown Prince of Crime" would suggest, The Joker is a terrifying blend of evil intentions and a chaotic temperament. He causes mayhem wherever he goes!
- Shego from Kim Possible: Shego is technically the henchman of the main villain Dr. Drakken, but thanks to her boldness, ruthlessness, and impressive combat skills, she's much more intimidating than her boss.
- HIM from The Powerpuff Girls: Known for his incredible pink tutu, lady's red jacket, and thigh-high black heeled boots, HIM is a totally iconic villain. His personality is also as eye-catching and flamboyant as his ensemble!
- Ursula from The Little Mermaid: Ursula may be an evil sea witch determined to get to King Triton by hurting his daughter Ariel, but she's also a total diva, and "Poor Unfortunate Souls" is a villain song for the ages.
- Yzma from The Emperor's New Groove: Voiced by the iconic Eartha Kitt, Yzma is a totally power-hungry, narcissistic, and overly dramatic villain. Her dynamic with her henchman, the dim-witted but lovable Kronk, is also hilarious!
- Mandark from Dexter's Laboratory: Mandark is a science whiz determined to prove he's better than Dexter. There are two things that make him totally iconic: his helmet-like bowl cut, and the fact that his real name is "Susan," which his hippie parents picked to defy societal norms.
