Most Popular Ships in Dandy’s World

  1. Fruitcake is the most popular ship in Dandy’s World. Cosmo and Sprout are best friends, and their Trinkets in the game are matching bracelets. Fans love how they clearly care for each other in the game. If that’s not enough, Cosmo is a Swiss Roll and Sprout is a strawberry—a natural pairing if there ever was one.[1]
    • Other Ship Names: Strawberry Shortcake, CakeFruit, Strawberrycake, HealMeal
  2. AngryHugs is a classic case of opposites attract. Shrimpo, who looks like a shrimp, is a grouchy toon who hates hugs—and other toons. Goob, on the other hand, is sweet and cheerful, which is probably why this funny ship is so popular.[2]
    • Other Ship Names: AngryCuddles, HateHugs, MeanHugs, ChokeHold, Love&Hate

  3. As TeaCase, Rodger and Teagan make a regal couple. Rodger the magnifying glass is logical and formal, while Teagan the teacup is elegant and thoughtful. It’s a sweet ship that fans love.
    • Other Ship Names: DetectiveTea, TeaSearch
  4. Shellvision (or Shellevision) is another ship where opposites attract. Shelly is kind and outgoing, and she’s often considered to represent the Past, since she looks like a fossilized shell. Vee is more reserved and straightforward, and since she’s a TV, she represents the Future.[3]
    • Other Ship Names: Shellevision, ShellVee, Velly, DinoShow
  5. MoonFlower is another extremely popular ship in Dandy’s World. It pairs Dandy, a colorful flower, with Dandy, whose face looks like a moon and star. The two are best friends, and in-game dialogue shows that Astro cares for Dandy and is concerned for him. The game’s creator has even acknowledged the ship, although they clarify that it isn’t canon.[4]
    • Some fans believe that MoonFlower is a one-sided ship, with Dandy being a dangerous or toxic influence on Astro.
    • Other Ship Names: NightLily, Flowerbed, Dandstro, SleepyTapes
  6. PopMusic is the ship between Boxten, a music box, and Poppy, a bubble. They’re the two toons players can choose from at the start of the game, so it’s natural to pair them up. And while their personalities are different, they complement each other—Poppy is outgoing and cheerful, while Boxten is a shy worrier.[5]
    • Other Ship Names: BubbleBox, Popten
  7. We’re not saying that ReflectiveDetective is such a popular ship because the name is so cool … but we’re not not saying that, either. But the pairing works well. Glisten is a mirror and Rodger is a magnifying glass, and the duo is obviously friendly in dialogue—even if Glisten has a habit of pointing out smudges on Rodger’s glass.[6]
    • Other Ship Names: MirrorCase, SparkleSpy, MirrorMystery, DetectionPerfection
  8. Veestro is a popular ship, likely sparked by the in-game dialogue between the pair. The first time they meet, Vee tells Astro that she’ll help if anyone gives him trouble, and the second time, Astro offers to untangle Vee’s mic cord. The sweet concern they share for each other is a natural jumping-off point for the ship.[7]
    • Other Ship Names: MoonShow, DarkMode, DreamyShow, NightVision, MoonVision
  9. RageBait is a ship between Finn, a fish bowl, and Shrimpo, a shrimp. This pairing is likely sparked by Dandy’s in-game statement that Shrimpo and Finn are friends. Shrimpo hates everything, but Finn’s sense of humor might just balance that out.[8]
    • Other Ship Names: ShrimpBait, FishBowl
  10. Rodger and Brightney make a natural pairing as DetectiveLight. As we’ve mentioned, Rodger is a magnifying glass who loves solving mysteries. And Brightney is a lamp who’s always trying to find a solution to a problem. Add their cute, friendly dialogue to the mix, and you’ve got a fan ship on your hands.[9]
    • Other Ship Names: SpyLight, UndercoverLight, LampCase
  11. FossilCleaning is a pairing between Shelly the fossilized shell and Tisha, a tissue box wearing a maid’s outfit. The in-game dialogue shows a sweet friendship between these two supportive toons, which is likely where the ship originated.[10]
    • Other Ship Names: CleaningFossil, CleanShell
  12. In JewelryBox, the music box Boxten is paired with Glisten the mirror. Glisten is confident and charismatic, while Boxten is more shy. But their in-game dialogue suggests that Boxten enjoys spending time with Glisten, and Glisten seems to go out of his way to make Boxten feel comfortable.[11]
    • Other Ship Names: MirrorBox, GlitterBox
  13. ShrimpTea is a little bit of an unconventional pairing—in the game, the only interaction between Shrimpo and Teagan is when Shrimpo tells Teagan he hates her dress. But the fact that it’s so unlikely is probably why fans like this ship so much.[12]
    • Other Ship Names: FancyPunch
  14. TeaBox is a ship between Teagan the tea cup and Tisha the tissue box. Teagan is upscale and elegant, and it wouldn’t be surprising if she had a maid, like Tisha. And both toons are sweet and friendly, so it’s not hard to imagine that the two might just strike up a romance.[13]
    • Other Ship Names: TeaMaid, FancyClean
  15. MoonShell features Astro and Shelly paired in a sweet relationship. The in-game dialogue between the two suggests that they’re friends—especially when Shelly tells Astro that she’s feeling better with him around. Shelly is often ignored by other toons, and Astro’s obvious care for her makes this ship a fan favorite.[14]
    • Other Ship Names: StarShell, DreamFossil, DinoSleep, MoonRock
  16. SoulBasket is a ship that matches Bassie, a basket filled with flowers, with Soulvester, a knight. Bassie is shy, while Soulvester is outgoing and heroic, but both always go out of their way to help others, and fans of SoulBasket think Soulvester would be Bassie’s champion.[15]
    • Other Ship Names: BasketKnight, HauntedGarden, SoulGarden
  17. GhostCapsule is a fun ship between Connie the ghost and Gigi the Gachapon, or toy capsule. These two playful tricksters are shown to be friends, and fans often ship them together. Sometimes, Flutter is added to the ship to make a throuple.[16]
    • Other Ship Names: Trick-or-Treat, HauntedCasino, TarotCards, GamblingGhost
  18. FishCapsule (also commonly called GambleFish) is the ship between Finn the fish bowl and Gigi the Gachapon. The two have limited interaction in the game, but fans like imagining the relationship between these silly, outgoing toons.[17]
    • Other Ship Names: GachaFish, GoFish, GambleFish
  19. MirrorVision is a popular ship pairing Vee the television with Glisten the mirror. These two toons are both outgoing and confident, and they even share similar animations and facial expressions. Plus, in one dialogue, Glisten calls Vee his “bestest closest friend of mine whom I care for deeply.” We think that’s a solid basis for a ship.[18]
    • Other Ship Names: DigitalBeauty, TVMirror, ScreenMirroring,
  20. TissuePaper is a little bit of a rarepair, but still gets enough attention to make our list. Scraps is a paper craft, and she’s known for being sweet and artistic. Tisha is organized and focused, but TissuePaper shippers think Scraps could be just the toon to help Tisha relax.[19]
    • Other Ship Names: CleanClaw, PaperCleaning

Are there any canon ships from Dandy’s World?

PDF download Download Article
  1. The creator of Dandy’s World, Qwelver (or Qwel), has stated multiple times on the game’s Discord that there aren’t any canon ships. The ships are just a fun way for fans to interact with the content, creating their own slash fiction, videos, and fan art imagining the toons in various pairings.
    • For example, this post on the dandys-world-robloxhorror fandom site has a screenshot of Qwel stating that no ships are currently canon, and that just because the toons compliment each other, it doesn’t mean they’re romantically connected.
    • The only exception might be Gourdy’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Holloway—but they’re minor characters.[20]
