    • You can use this method whether you're using a computer, phone, or tablet.
    • It is not possible to turn off live chat for Premieres.

    • If you're doing a live stream on mobile, you may not be able to moderate the messages as well as you could on a computer. For instance, if you're on a computer, you can press Alt to pause the live chat and point to a user's name; from there, you can delete the user from your chat, put them in time-out (they can't message for a set time), or hide the user from the chat and your channel.
    • In YouTube Studio, you can set a list of words that are blocked from your live stream chats. Go to YouTube Studio > Settings > Community > Blocked Words > Save.[16]

    Community Answer
Yes, you can delete someone else's comment on your own YouTube video, especially if it is inappropriate.
  • Question
Is it better to make my YouTube videos unlisted with comments turned off, or should I make them private to deal with harassment from a troll?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
It depends on your needs and privacy concerns. If you want to limit access to your videos, making them private is the safest option, as only approved individuals can view them. Unlisted videos can be shared if someone has the link, potentially allowing further harassment. Even with comments off, trolls might find other ways to harass you.
  • Question
Can I report someone who is harassing or trolling me on my YouTube videos?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
You can't always report someone for harassment or trolling unless their comments violate YouTube's policies, such as involving threats or illegal activity. In cases of harassment, it's often better to block the user and ignore their comments.
