Drawing an Among Us Crewmate

  1. Draw a horizontal oval that’s a little wider on the left side than the right side, like an egg lying on its side. This will be the Crewmate’s visor.[1]
    • The left side of the oval should be almost straight, while the right side should be more curved.
  2. This will be the front of the body. Go to the right-most curve on the visor, then follow the curve down and around until you’re just inside the right edge. Draw a line all the way down from the visor to where you want the bottom of the right foot to be.[2]
    • This line should be mostly straight, but with a slight outward curve so the body looks a little round.

  3. Start at the top of the visor, directly above where you drew the line for the front of the body. Draw a curve up and over the visor to make the Crewmate’s head. Then, bring the curve around the back of the visor and all the way down to the bottom of the left foot.[3]
    • The line along the Crewmate’s back should be slightly curved, just like the line on the front of the body.
    • Make sure the bottom of the left foot lines up with the bottom of the right foot.
  4. Go to the bottom of the drawing, then go up a little to where you want the legs to start. Make a small, curved line to indicate where the body stops, and the legs start. Extend the line a little further toward the right side of the body than the left.[4]
    • Keep this as a fairly shallow curve.
  5. Draw a line coming straight down from the left side of the curve you just drew. This will be the inside of the Crewmate’s left leg.[5]
    • Add a slightly rounded line to connect the bottom of the leg lines. This is the Crewmate’s left foot.
  6. Go back up to the right side of the curved line you drew at the bottom of the body. Start the right leg so it’s slightly inset to the left of this line. This will create a fold, giving the Crewmate a little dimension.[6]
    • Try to make the legs about the same width.
    • Finish by connecting the leg lines with a shallow curve to complete the Crewmate’s right foot.
  7. Draw a short, curved horizontal line coming from the back of the Crewmate’s body, so it’s about even with the midpoint of the visor. This is the top of the backpack. Add a long, slightly curved vertical line coming down to just above the legs.[7]
    • Connect the backpack to the body with another short, curved horizontal line.
  8. Make the visor blue, leaving a small, horizontal oval unshaded in the top center to mimic a glare. Add a slightly dark blue crescent coming from about halfway up the left side of the visor, down along the bottom edge, all the way to the right side.[8]
    • Color the body whatever color you want—red is a popular option, but you can make it green, orange, blue, purple, grey/black, or any other color you like.
    • Use a slightly darker shade of the same color to shade the bottom half of the backpack and body, including the legs. You can also just go back over those areas with the same color to make the shading look a little darker.

Drawing an Among Us Impostor

PDF download Download Article
  1. You can draw a simple oval, if you want.[9] But to make the Impostor look more like other Among Us characters, make the oval slightly wider on the left side than the right side, similar to the shape of an egg on its side.
    • For even more detail, add a glare mark by drawing a crescent shape from the top left of the visor, running down to the bottom right.
  2. Go to the right curve of the visor you just drew, then follow the curve down so you’re slightly inside the right-most edge. From there, draw a curved line down, then make a point and add a tapered line back up to make a wide, fang-like tooth. Add two more teeth just like that.[10]
    • The second tooth should end at about the left side of the visor, although this doesn’t have to be precise.
    • Bring the tapered line inside the third tooth all the way up to about the mid-point of the visor.
  3. Start at the top of the line you drew for the back of the third tooth. Then, make a long, shallow C-shaped curve coming down from that line, all the way to where you want the bottom of the mouth to go.[11]
    • The Impostor can open its mouth really wide, so give this curve plenty of length.
  4. From the bottom of the line you just drew, add a curved line up, then make a point and draw another line straight down—just like the teeth you already drew, but upside-down. Make a second tooth, then a third one. Try to make the third tooth end so it’s about in line with the right-most tooth on the top.[12]
    • When you get to the top of the third tooth, bring the outermost line all the way down to where you want the right foot to end. Be sure to give this line a gentle curve so the front of the body looks round.
  5. Go about halfway down the back of the mouth, or the line that connects the top and bottom teeth. Draw a wavy line with about 2–3 waves, ending on an upward curve. Then, draw a bottom line that matches that one, tapering it so it’s wider at the back of the mouth and pointed at the tip.[13]
    • Some people draw the tongue so it comes up from the bottom of the mouth, instead—do whichever you prefer!
  6. Start the line for the front of the Impostor’s mouth on the back side of the first or second tooth on top (whichever you prefer). Leave a break in the line for the tongue, then start the line beneath the tongue and connect it to the bottom tooth.[14]
    • Give this line a slight curve so it’s roughly parallel to the curved line at the back of the mouth.
    • Don’t draw the mouth line directly from the point of the tooth—it won’t have the same dimensional effect.
  7. Go up to the top right side of the visor, about in line with where you started the top teeth. Draw a curved line up and back to make the top of the head. Then, bring that curve all the way down to where you want the bottom of the left foot to be.[15]
    • The line for the back should be mostly straight, but slightly curved so the body looks round.
    • Be sure the bottom of the left leg lines up with the bottom of the right leg.
  8. Draw a vertical line for the inner left leg, starting about halfway between the mouth and the bottom of the legs. Try to roughly line it up with the back of the Impostor’s mouth, but it doesn’t have to be perfect.[16]
    • Add a shallow horizontal curve coming from the right side of the body, ending just a little below the top of the inner left leg line. This is the transition from the Impostor’s body to its legs.
    • Start your inner right leg so it comes out from the bottom of this curve, creating a fold.
    • Add two gently curved lines to make the feet, one connecting the left leg lines and one connecting the right leg.
  9. Draw a vertical, curved rectangle along the Impostor’s back, starting from about halfway up the top teeth and extending down to about the bottom of the bottom teeth. Round the corners slightly to give it that Among Us backpack look.[17]
    • You can also add a top hat or Santa hat to the top of your Impostor’s head, if you want.
  10. Use a light blue shade for the top part of the visor, leaving a small white oval in the middle for a light glare. Add a slightly darker blue to the bottom crescent of the visor. For the body, use a lighter shade for the top of the head, the tongue, and the top of the backpack. Use a darker shade for the legs and the bottom of the body and backpack. Fill in the back of the mouth with a darker version of the body color, or use another shade like gray or black, if you prefer.[18]
    • You can make your Among Us any color you want!

Drawing a Standing Deceased Crewmate from Among Us

PDF download Download Article
  1. Start by drawing a C shape that comes out a little further on the top than the bottom. Then, draw a shape like a backwards C, starting just under the top of the first curved line and extending down and around to the right.[19]
    • This shape will look almost like a bubble heart without the point at the bottom.
  2. Draw the left side of the bone coming straight down from the bottom of the first C shape you drew. Then, draw the right side of the bone coming from the bottom of the second semicircle.[20]
    • Be sure both lines end at about the same point.
  3. Make this line as wide as you want the Crewmate’s body to be. Extend the line out a little further on the right side than the left to account for the Crewmate’s backpack.
    • Some people make this a curved line, instead.[21]
  4. Start the line on the left so it comes down from the very edge of the zig-zag line you just drew. This will be the outside of the Crewmate’s left leg. On the right side, start the line a little inside the zig-zag.
    • The leftover part of the zig-zag line on the right will be the top of the Crewmate’s backpack.
    • Make sure both of these lines stop where you want the feet to be.
  5. Draw a shallow curve about halfway up between the bottom of the legs and the zig-zag line. This will be the transition where the legs start.[22]
    • This should only be a small, shallow curve.
  6. On the right side, drop the line for the legs right from the outside of the curve. Connect the bottom of this line to the outermost right leg line with a slightly curved horizontal line to make the bottom of the right foot.[23]
    • Start the left inner leg just a little inside the curved line. This will create a fold, giving your Crewmate a little dimension. Connect these lines with a slightly curved horizontal line to make the bottom of the left foot.
  7. Draw a slightly curved vertical line coming down from the rightmost edge of the zig-zag line. Place the line so it’s about even with the curved line for the Crewmate’s body.[24]
    • Add a slightly curved horizontal line to connect the bottom of the backpack to the body.
  8. Use a slightly lighter color to create a crescent shape right under the Crewmate’s belly, and a slightly darker shade for the rest of the body and the legs. Leave the bone white.
