Need to find a comment you left on a YouTube video? If you don't remember which video you commented on, you can easily check your entire comment history. This can be done whether you're using the mobile app or website. Here's how to see your comments on YouTube using your iPhone, iPad, Android, or computer.

Find Your Comments on YouTube

To see all your comments on YouTube, open the app and select your profile picture. Select the cog icon > Manage all history > Interactions > Comments and replies. On the website, click the three lines and select History. Then, select Comments.

   Open the YouTube app and tap your profile picture. This is in the bottom-right corner. YouTube makes it easy to check all the comments you've ever posted in your comment history. Keep in mind this will not include comments on deleted videos or if the comment was removed by YouTube due to a policy violation.

   Tap the cog icon. You'll see this in the top-right corner.

   Tap Manage all history. A new page will open.

   Tap Interactions. This is the tab at the top, next to Controls.

   View your comments. Comments are listed in chronological order. If you want to delete a comment, tap the X icon on the right side of the comment.

   Go to youtube.com in a web browser and click on the 3 horizontal lines ☰. It's at the top-left corner of the page. A menu will expand on the left side of the page.

   • You can skip this step if you already see a menu with links like Home, Trending, and Subscriptions on the left side of the page.
   • Make sure you're logged into your YouTube account.

   Click History on the menu. It's near the top of the menu on the left side of the page.

   Select Comments on the right panel. It's under the Manage all history header. Comments that you've made on past videos will appear on the left.

   Click on a comment to go to the video. Your comment will be highlighted on top.

   • If you want to delete a comment, click the X next to it.

   Open the YouTube app on your phone or tablet and search for a video. To do so, tap on the search icon in the top right corner of the YouTube app, type your query, and then tap the search icon on your keyboard to view matching search results.

   Go to youtube.com in a web browser and search for a video. To do so, just type what you're looking for into the search bar at the top of the page, and then press the Enter or Return key on the keyboard. A list of search results will appear.

   • Alternatively, navigate to a link for a video that has been shared with you.

   Click a video in the search results. This opens the video's homepage, which is where you'll find the comments.

  It depends on what mobile device you have. Some devices show the comments section, others don't show them and there is no way to post a comment within that device.
