Choosing a Valorant Name

   Understand Valorant’s name restrictions. Like most online multiplayer games, Valorant has some restrictions on what you can and cannot use in your Riot ID. Keep the following restrictions in mind when coming up with a name:

   • Length: Your name must be between 3-16 characters long.
   • Tagline: Your tagline, which follows your name, must be between 3-5 characters long.
   • Language: Avoid using any inappropriate language that could be offensive (hate speech, slurs, profanity, etc.)
   • Characters: Your name can include a mix of letters, numbers, spaces, and special characters. Taglines, however, are restricted to just letters and numbers.
   • Uniqueness: You can have the same display name as another player. Each player has a unique hashtag or tagline to ensure that each player is uniquely identifiable.

   Pick a name that reflects your personality. Let your imagination run wild! As long as you follow the restrictions above, you can choose practically any Valorant name you want. If you’re feeling stuck, keep the following tips in mind:
