  1. The free version of LetsView allows you to mirror your iPhone to Windows as long as they're both connected to the same Wi-Fi network. You'll just need to install the app on both your phone and your computer to get started:[1]
    • On your Windows computer, go to the LetsView download page and click Windows to start the download. When the app is finished downloading, open your Downloads folder, double-click the letsview-setup file, and follow the on-screen instructions to install.
    • On your iPhone, search for "LetsView" in the App Store, and select the app called Screen Mirroring: LetsView. Tap GET to install it.
  2. When you open LetsView in Windows, you'll see "Share my screen" in the drop-down menu. Click that menu and select Receive a screen instead.

  1. You can use the free trial version of LonelyScreen to bring AirPlay to your Windows computer. You won't even need to install anything on your iPhone! Only the trial version is free–if you want to use the program for the long term and not be nagged to upgrade, you'll need to pay; it costs $14.95/year.[2] To install the trial:
    • Make sure your Windows computer and iPhone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
    • Go to the LonelyScreen download page on your computer.
    • Click Download for Windows to download the installer.
    • Double-click the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to install.
  2. If LonelyScreen doesn't open automatically, open it by clicking LonelyScreen in your start menu. Then, when prompted, click Allow to allow LonelyScreen to bypass your firewall. After a few moments, LonelyScreen will load to a picture of a computer screen.[3]
  3. A list of devices you can mirror to will appear.[4]
    • To open the Control Center, just swipe down from the upper-right corner of your iPhone's home screen.
  4. After a few seconds, your iPhone will start mirroring to Windows. Now, everything you do on your iPhone's screen will display in the LonelyScreen window.
    • Tip: The quality will look pretty rough on your computer until you make the LonelyScreen window bigger.

Recording Your iPhone's Screen While Mirrored

  1. Want to record your screen mirroring session? It's easy to do with the Xbox Game Bar, which is built into Windows. First, use your preferred app, like LetsView or LonelyScreen, to start mirroring.
    • This can come in handy for recording yourself playing iPhone games, making how-to videos for TikTok, and doing just about anything else on your iPhone. It even records audio through your microphone if you want, just in case you want to do a voiceover!
  2. This opens a bar with several options.
  3. You can record yourself narrating while you record what you're doing on your iPhone, record the sound coming from the iPhone, both, or choose not to record any sound at all. Here's how to choose:
    • In Game Bar, click the gear icon at the top-right.
    • Click More Settings and select Widgets.
    • Under "Audio to record," choose:
      • Game + enabled mic: Records audio from your iPhone and you speaking through your default microphone.
      • All: Records audio from your iPhone, you speaking through your default microphone, and audio from any other open Windows apps (such as your web browser or music player).
      • None: Captures no audio at all.
    • Click the X to close your settings and return to the Game Bar.
  4. This opens the Capture window–you should see the name of your screen mirroring program (like LetsView) here.[5]
  5. Game Bar will begin recording the LetsView or LonelyScreen window (as well as the audio you selected).
  6. This stops the screen recording and saves it to your Captures folder.
  7. After recording the screen, return to the Game Bar "Capture" window and click See my captures. You'll see your recent screen recordings here, and you can click Open file location to jump straight to your Captures folder in File Explorer.
