The simple solution is to tell your mom you don't thinks she is ready yet. My niece used to go to 3 different houses that did totally different things and wasn't potty trained until she was 3 1/2. Consistency is important for children.

If his bladder is empty at night, there won't be an accident. Have him urinate before he goes to bed. After drinking something, see how much later he needs before he has an urge to urinate. Before his bedtime, make sure he goes to the bathroom after drinking water within this usual amount of time and don't let him drink anything more.
