Food Wars! is probably one of the best-known cooking anime, says anime and manga expert Cedric Han.[1] It follows Souma Yukihira as he works at his father’s restaurant in hopes of becoming an incredible chef. But when his father announces that he’ll be closing the store and moving to New York, Souma enrolls in the prestigious Tootsuki Culinary Academy, where he competes in many tough cooking battles.[2]
