You’re given a menu of select items to choose from, and the staff pretends to whip up your order during an interactive, role-playing scenario. The Jellycat Experience is an interactive event where you can buy exclusive Jellycat plush toys. It takes place in a pretend “restaurant” where you order food-shaped plushies off of a menu. The staff takes your order and “prepares” it right in front of you, inviting you to take part. It’s an entertaining way to shop for and purchase exclusive Jellycats that are only available through the experience. Menu Each Jellycat Experience has a specialized menu that features the plushies you’re able to buy during the experience. The menus are usually themed and include different food or character Jellycat plushies. Some yummy choices may include burgers, milkshakes, fish and chips, and pastries.

Preparation This is the part where the staff puts on a theatrical show! No matter which Jellycat Experience you attend, you can look forward to an entertaining performance as your “meal” is prepared. The counters where these displays happen resemble kitchens or cafes, and staff members role play taking your order and making your “food.” Stations are set up to include a mix of cooking props and utensils to present a whole cooking routine.^{[1]

Packaging Once your plush toy has been properly prepared, the staff wraps it in special packaging. From the paper to the take-out box, everything about the packaging is created exclusively for the Jellycat Experience. At the London location, the wrapping paper is taped with a personalized sticker that has your name on it. Besides your new plush toy, you’re also given other goodies, like stickers and enamel pins.

Jellycat Diner Experience at FAO Schwarz, New York This Jellycat Diner is a permanent installation located on the second floor of FAO Schwarz in New York City. The items featured on the menu include the Amuseables Burger, Hot Dog, Pancakes, Waffles, Milkshake, and Cheesecake. While these plushies are only available with purchase of the experience, you can browse and buy other toys inside the Jellycat Shop at FAO Schwarz.^{[2]

Pop-Ups & Shops There are all sorts of themed pop-up Jellycat Experiences that happen worldwide. One example is the Jellycat CAFÉ Experience that ran in Shanghai and Beijing in September 2025. Jellycat Airlines is a new concept store that features airport-inspired displays and items and is located inside Harrods and the Heathrow Airport in London, England.
