In Adopt Me!, you can transform four fully grown pets into a new Neon Pet. However, once you do, you'll see that their pet stage is now "Reborn." In this article, we'll go over the Adopt Me! Neon Pet stages, as well as how many tasks you have to do per stage to level them up. We also cover how to get Neon Pets and answer frequently asked questions about them, too.

How to Get Neon Pets

  1. All pets must be fully grown (in their final growth stage) and of the same species. To get a Neon Pet, bring your pets to the Neon Cave and place them in the glowing circles; there is one circle in the center, with three surrounding it.
    • Neon Cave is located under the bridge connecting Adoption Island to the Neighborhood.[2]
    • Neon Cave is also where you make Mega Neon Pets. Instead of placing four fully grown pets in the glowing circles, place four Luminous Neon Pets of the same species there. They will then fuse into a Mega Neon Pet.[3]

How do I age up my Neon Pets faster? There are a few ways to age up your Neon Pets to make them Luminous as quickly as possible. These methods will also work when aging up normal pets, so you can make a Neon Pet:
    • Age-up events: Sometimes, Adopt Me! will have events like 2x Aging Weekends that boost your pets' age-up rates.
    • Age-Up Potions: The best way to quickly age up pets is with an Age-Up Potion. Age-Up Potions give a pet 30 tasks. Age-Up Potions are given for free when you reach a new friendship level, age up pets, or place certain baits inside a lure. They were also given out during previous events, such as the Advent Calendar.
      • You must place an Ice Soup Bait, Burnt Bites Bait, Shiver Cone Bait, or Subzero Popsicle Bait into the Box Lure or Cozy Home Lure for a chance to get an Age-Up Potion.[4]
    • Sugar Skull Potion: This potion works like the Age-Up Potion, but it gives 45 tasks instead of 30. This potion is very rare, though, as it is no longer sold. You can only get it via trading, now.[5]
    • Super Age Potion: This potion will instantly age a pet to full grown. However, it costs 225 Robux, though you can also obtain it through trading.[6]

What are the rarest Neon Pets? The rarest Neon Pets are typically old event pets that no longer exist. These pets are just rare in general, so seeing a neon version of them is even rarer. Here are some of the rarest Neon Pets in Adopt Me!:
    • Shadow Dragon: This pet was an event pet from Halloween 2019, and cost 1,000 Robux to get.
    • Bat Dragon: This was also an event pet from Halloween 2019, and it cost 180,000 Candy just to get one.
    • Giraffe: This pet can only be obtained from a Safari Egg, which is no longer available.
    • Frost Dragon: Like the Shadow Dragon, this pet cost 1,000 Robux, but was available only during Christmas 2019.
    • Owl: This pet can only be obtained from the Farm Egg, which is no longer available.
    • Parrot: Like the Owl, this pet was obtained from an egg that's no longer available—the Jungle Egg.
    • Evil Unicorn: Like the Bat Dragon, this pet was from the Halloween 2019 event and cost 180,000 Candy.
    • Crow: This pet was only available in the Farm Egg, which is no longer available.
    • Monkey King: You could only get this pet from the Monkey Fairground Event, which isn't around anymore.
