Detective Conan follows a teenage detective who is transformed into a child. While doing an investigation, teen detective Shinichi Kudo is ambushed by a crime syndicate called the Black Organization. They force-feed him an experimental drug in an attempt to kill him, but instead, it transforms his body into that of an elementary-aged boy. He then begins living under the name Conan Edogawa and continues helping his friend’s father, a private detective, on investigations.^{[7]
