For example, one of the most popular rage bait questions is, “If I had an identical twin, would you be attracted to them?” If the person answers yes, they’re saying they’d be attracted to their partner’s sibling. But if they say no, they’re effectively calling them ugly or unattractive. The goal of the trend is to create a panicky or squirmy reaction in one’s significant other, resulting in a funny moment for the couple (and, often, for their viewers on social media).
