Sailor Piece has turned into one of the most expansive games on Roblox. However, there are so many quests and locations that it can be a little hard to know where to start. We’re breaking down everything you need to know when you start playing, including the basic game progression, some of the core features you need to know, and our best strategy tips. Let’s check it out!

These are the different islands you can travel to in Sailor Piece, plus the recommended level for when to go to each one:

Early Game: Levels 1–1600 When you first start the game, you’ll go to Starter Island. Grind here until you hit level 100 by working on the Thief Hunter and Thief Hunter Boss quests. Buy the Katana once you get to Level 100, but keep farming on this island until you reach Level 250. (It will go a lot faster once you have a weapon.)^{[1]

- Head to Jungle Island through the Teleport Portal once you get to level 250. Repeat the Monkey Hunter and Monkey boss quests until you get to at least Level 800.
- Go to Desert Island once you’re at around Level 800. Work on the Desert Bandit and Desert Bandit Boss quests until you get to Level 1200 and have enough money to buy the Observation Haki (25,000 cash and 300 gems).
- Head to Sailor Island and talk to the Ascension Master NPC to start getting Ascensions. Fight here until you reach level 1600.

Mid Game: Levels 1600–2500 Teleport to Snow Island and grind here to complete the Frost Rogue Mobs and Winter Warden Boss quests. Stay here until you’re at around Level 2500 and have at least 250,000 cash and 150 gems.^{[2]

- Buy the Dark Blade. This is the first chance you’ll really have to upgrade your katana. By now, the katana has probably started to feel pretty underpowered, and compared to that, the Dark Blade will feel like a big upgrade. It’s the best early-progession sword in the game.^{[3]

Mid-Late Game: Levels 2500–5000 Fight at Shibuya Station until you reach level 5000. Once you have the Dark Blade, head to Shibuya Station. Complete the Sorcerer Hunter quest, then spend some time farming drops from the Panda Sorcerer Boss.^{[4]

- Take on World Bosses once you reach level 5000. Fight Sukuna and Yuji whenever they spawn at Shibuya Station to get rare drops like Race and Trait Rerolls.
- Buy the Gryphon Sword as soon as you save up 650,000 cash and 650 gems. It has a powerful AoE attack and is great for fighting groups of enemies. It’s also a solid choice for AFK farming.^{[5]

- Pick up the Conqueror Haki. Once you’re at Ascension Level 5 and have the Armament and Observation Hakis and a Conqueror Fragment (obtainable via enemy drops or chests), talk to the Conquerer Haki Trainer to get the Conquerer Haki.

Stat points As you fight enemies and bosses, gaining XP will help you earn Stat points. Invest early stat points to upgrade your combat and weapon. They’re most effective if you apply them to Melee, Sword, and Power. You can level up other areas as you progress later in the game.^{[7]

- Later in the game, you can use Stat Rerolls to get an S or SS tier on the different specs—and, eventually, SSS and Z tier.

Fighting style (Melee vs. Combat) You have the option in Sailor Piece to either fight with a sword or to use a melee-based (non-sword) fighting style. (Not all melee styles are hand-to-hand combat, though; one uses duel pistols.) It’s really up to you which one you use, but it’s usually best to pick one and stick with it for the whole game.^{[8]

- If you go with a Melee build, aim for Combat Styles like Yuji or Sukuna early in the game and Cosmic Being, Strongest Shinobi, and Moon Slayer later in the game.
- If you choose a Sword build, upgrade to the Dark Blade as early as possible. The best swords later in the game include the Ice Queen, Dragon Goddess, and Atomic.
- Pay attention to how other stats work with your fighting style. For instance, some Races give a boost to either Swords or Melee, while others grant a buff to both.

Races, Clans, Traits, and Bloodlines In Sailor Piece, there are tons of different ways you can boost your characters’ stats, like by equipping a Clan, Race, Trait, or Bloodline.These categories can give you a big boost to damage, HP, cooldown, and Luck. Just keep rerolling until you land on something with a high rarity or that matches your play style. Keep in mind that rerolling will discard the previous clan, race, or trait you had equipped—even if the new one is a lower-tier rarity.^{[9]

- Race: Get Race Rerolls from bosses and NPCs, then use them from your inventory to roll a new Race.
  - The best Races include Reaper, Archangel, Angel, Luckborn, and Wraith. In the early game, aim for an Epic-tier Race.
- Clan: Get Clan Rerolls from chests, dungeons, or bosses, or buy them from the Sailor Island Merchant. Use them from your inventory to roll a new Clan.
  - The best Clans include Senzu, Devil, Frostbane, Eminence, Alter, Espada, and Upper. In the early game, aim for the Sasaki or Raikage Clan.
- Trait: Get Trait Rerolls from bosses and high-level NPCs, then talk to the Trait Master NPC to roll a new Trait.
  - The best Traits include Celestial, Emperor, and Cataclysm. In the early game, aim for the Ascended or Overdrive Traits.
- Bloodline: Get Bloodline Stones from bosses, Crystal Defense, or Minotaurs. Using a Bloodline Stone from your inventory will assign you a random Bloodline, much like using a Reroll.
  - The best Bloodlines are Ghoul, Empyrean, Doombringer, Demonic, Astral, and Primordial.

Haki There are 3 Haki in Sailor Piece, and each grants significant buffs to your character. Try to get the Armament and Observer Haki as quickly as possible—they’ll give your character a big boost right away, and their effects will only increase as you level them up by defeating enemies. It takes longer to get the Conqueror Haki, but it’s worth the grind once you meet the requirements.
- Armament Haki: Go to Snow Island and talk to the Haki Trainer. Complete the quest requirements (kill 150 NPCs using Combat, use your Z ability 65 times, and punch 750 times), then buy the Haki for 250,000 cash and 250 gems.
- Observation Haki: Go to Desert Island, then buy the Haki for 250,000 cash and 300 gems. (There is no quest requirement.)
- Conqueror Haki: Raise your Armament Haki up to Level 40 and your Observation Haki up to Level 25, reach Ascension Level 5, and obtain a Conqueror Fragment. Then, go to Shibuya Station and talk to the Conqueror Haki Trainer to complete their quest.
  - Conqueror Haki Quest: Defeat 500 enemies with Armament Haki, dodge 200 times with Observation Haki, defeat 200 bosses, and complete 25 dungeons.

Ascension Once you reach level 2500, go to Snow Island to unlock the Ascension system. Each Ascension Level will give you additional money and gems per kill, plus an increase in Luck and a decrease to your Cooldown. There are 10 Ascension Levels in all.^{[10]

- After you talk to the Snow Island, NPC, you’ll be given a quest. Meet the quest requirements (Level 2500, kill 125 NPCs, kill 10 bosses, and deal 10 mil Damage) to gain Ascension Level 1.
- Regularly check your Ascension requirements to be sure you’re always working toward the next Level. Your Ascension Level can make a huge difference in how quickly you’re able to progress!

Devil Fruits Devil Fruits add unique abilities to your attacks. You can buy fruits from the Fruit Dealer on Sailor Island, from natural spawn points around the islands, or by defeating bosses.^{[11]

- Later in the game, use Dark (summons void attacks), Kitsune (summons fox spirit), Spirit (temporary invincibility), and Fiend (health steal).

Mastery System The Mastery System is a relatively new addition to Sailor Piece. You can apply Mastery to both Swords and Melee Styles—prioritize the weapon or fighting style that you prefer.^{[13]

- You get one Mastery Point for every 25 enemies you kill.
- When you reach a new Mastery Tier, your chosen sword or melee style will get a stat boost.
  - For instance, when you get 25 MP, you’ll earn a 7% Luck Bonus.
- Check an item’s Mastery in your inventory.

Other Features Sailor Piece is an incredibly complex game, so don’t worry if it takes you a little time to get the hang of all the features. In addition to the ones listed above, here are a few more to prioritize as you’re leveling up:
- Artifacts: Artifacts are dropped by Bosses and NPCs after you talk to the Snow Island NPC. Equipping 2 or 4 Artifacts from the same set will give you a stat boost. Upgrade Artifacts using Dust. ^{[14]

- Equip Titles and Traits as you unlock them, and regularly check your inventory so you can open any chests you’ve picked up.

- Skill Tree: The Skill Tree is a great way to level up your character—you get one skill point for every 250 enemies you kill. Just keep in mind that you can’t access the Skill Tree until you unlock Slime Island (usually around Level 7000).
- Auras: Late-game features that add a visible aura and a stat boost to your character. You can obtain Auras from Aura Crates, which are occasionally dropped by bosses.^{[18]

- Spec Passives: Passives are massive late-game stat boosts for your weapon or fighting style. Talk to the Passive Master NPC once you reach Level 10,000. Give them 5000 gems to unlock the Passive system, then use Passive Shards to roll for Passives.
- Relics: After you unlock Sea 2, talk to the Relic Crafter NPC at Bizarre Island to obtain a Relic that will give you a buff to your Luck, Damage, Crit Damage, or Crit Chance.^{[19]

Sailor Piece Strategy Tips & Tricks

We’ve already covered the general game progression and most of the in-game mechanics—but with a game like Sailor Piece, that’s only scratching the surface. That’s why we’ve rounded up a few more tips that will help you level up as quickly as possible.
- Join the Shadowrise Devs group on Roblox to claim a reward of gold and gems—it will help you get off to a good start early in the game. You can do this as soon as you start playing.^{[20]

- Start the Demonite Core quest on Starter Island right away. For this quest, you’ll need to find two Demonite Cores. After you complete this quest, you can start collecting Calamity Seals, so it’s a good idea to do this immediately.^{[21]

- Turn on the “Auto Haki” setting in Settings > Gameplay to automatically use your equipped Hakis.
