  3. In this seed, you'll spawn right on the edge of a Taiga biome where it becomes a Snowy Taiga biome. Surrounding this Snowy Taiga are Snowy Plains and Frozen Rivers. If you're playing on Java, there's a ruined portal just south of Spawn and a village a little ways to the east in the Snowy Plains. If you're playing on Bedrock, the village is south of spawn, and the ruined portal is to the east.[3]

    • Version: Java and Bedrock
  4. In this seed, you'll spawn near a massive, icy cliff with an inexplicable floating island above it. Using Chunkbase

  1. If you don't want to use the seeds listed above, or if those seeds don't fit what you need in your Minecraft world, you can use Chunkbase's seed map to find a seed that works for you.
    • Go to Chunkbase's seed map.
    • Turn on gridlines by checking the "Grid Lines" box underneath the map (optional).
    • Highlight the biome(s) you're looking for. This will help you easily see if the biomes you want are close to your spawn point.
    • Choose what features you want shown on the map. By default, biomes, your spawn point, slime chunks, villages, ancient cities, woodland mansions, ruined portals, buried treasure, and trial chambers will be highlighted. You can adjust which things you want shown on the map by clicking on their icons under "Features."
    • Choose your Minecraft version in the "Version" dropdown.
    • Click Random until you find a seed that you like.
      • Most biomes will be grayed out, except for the ones you selected. By using the seed map instead of the biome finder, you'll be able to see if anything is interesting near your spawn, including villages, structures, and more.
      • Hovering over a spot in the map will show the coordinates and biome in the lower-left corner. If you want to see the biomes more easily, click the eyeball button (the one on the left) next to "Biomes."
    • Copy the seed in the "Seed" field. You can then use this seed to start a new Minecraft world.
