Are you stuck trying to figure out the solution to the library maze in Deepwoken? This puzzle and section of the Depths have challenging puzzles and time loops, but learning the library code can help you solve them more quickly. Keep reading, and we’ll walk you through the library puzzle as well as shortcuts to complete the other Floor 2 challenges.

Deepwoken Library Code Solution

The library code for Deepwoken is 1-2-1-2-2-2-1-2-3-1-4-2-3-1. To enter the code, go into each room and tap the pillars the listed number of times to unlock the next room. When you finish entering the code, you gain access to the obelisk in the final room and are able to activate it.

How to Solve the Deepwoken Library Code Puzzle

Use the code 1-2-1-2-2-2-1-2-3-1-4-2-3-1 to work through the library maze. Tap the pillar in each room the listed number of times in sequence. When you enter the first room of the library, tap the pillar once to unlock the next room. In the second room, tap the pillar twice, and so on. Continue going through the rooms until you enter the code completely.^{[1]

- If you enter the code incorrectly and move into the wrong room, you’re teleported back to the start of the library puzzle and have to start over.
- A map appears on the wall outside of the maze where you can check your progress.
- Some of the rooms have enemies. Fight them for a chance to earn chests and loot, or dodge-roll around them to save time.
When you enter the code correctly, the final room will appear with a large floating obelisk in the middle. Activate the obelisk to complete the puzzle and unlock the library door so you’re able to escape the maze.

Climb the library walls to skip the maze. When you enter the first room of the library maze, move hop close to the bookshelves to climb up the wall and onto the arch. Jump from the top of the arch onto the flat top of the wall. Look down into the rooms and drop into the one that has the obelisk.^{[2]

- Attack the wall when you’re falling into the room to prevent fall damage.
- The exit door will not unlock if you skip the maze. Go to the corner of the room to the right of the NPC and spam the Jump and Dash buttons to no-clip through the wall.
If you have the Ice Skate talent, activate it when you first enter the second floor. Move to the closest glass dome on the left side of the city. Follow the path on the left leading to the other side of the library. When you reach the closed door, spam the Jump and Dash buttons to glitch through the wall and activate the obelisk.^{[3]

Accessing the Library Puzzle in Deepwoken

When you first enter New Kyrsa, turn left and travel down through the caves. Hug the wall on your left and climb up the rocks. Continue following the grass and stone paths until you reach the library’s glass dome.

Fall down into the crack in the library’s ceiling, and follow the hallway to reach the maze.^{[4]

- Skip talking to any NPCs along the route to avoid unnecessary battles.
Purple spotlights randomly appear around the map when you first enter New Kyrsa. Stepping into one of the purple spotlights sounds an alarm, and spears start raining down from the sky toward you. Keep moving and dash out of harm’s way. After a few seconds, the alarm will stop and you’ll be safe again.^{[5]

Completing Layer 2 Floor 2 in Deepwoken

Activate the 5 obelisks before the end of the third time loop. New Kyrsa has an unstable time loop, so you’re taken back to the start of the level every 15 minutes. There are 5 special obelisks hidden around the city, and activating them all stops the time loops from happening. If you’re unable to light them up before the third loop finishes, then you immediately die.

Defeat the Scion of Ethiron in battle. The path to the Scion of Ethiron boss opens near the giant red orb in the middle of the city. The Scion of Ethiron is a powerful boss that has ultimate attacks that can kill you in one shot. Take the long bone pillars and place them in their bases on the map.^{[6]

- After placing 3 bones, a ramp will open up to the second floor to place more bones. After the second floor, the third floor opens up.
- After placing all the bones, the Scion of Ethiron gets stunned. Move to the second floor and attack it to deal damage.
- Continue moving around to avoid the Scion of Ethiron’s attacks. Dodge and parry its ultimate attack that looks like a purple cloud.
- Try taking on the Scion of Ethiron with a team so you can deal damage faster.

Escape the city within 3 minutes. As soon as you beat the Scion of Ethiron, rush back to the entrance and run up the grass path. Avoid and dodge all the enemies in your path. Reach the yellow-highlighted area to take the Light Hook out of the city before it collapses.^{[7]

- Continue holding the Sprint button the entire time you’re escaping.
- Spam any abilities that boost your speed or dash distance so you can quickly cover more ground.
- If you’re hit by an enemy while you’re escaping, right-click as soon as you ragdoll so you recover faster.

Obelisk Locations in Layer 2 Floor 2

As soon as you enter Layer 2 Floor 2, the entrance obelisk appears straight ahead of you. Simply walk up to the obelisk and activate it before exploring the rest of New Kyrsa.^{[8]

The final room of the library maze houses the second obelisk. Access the obelisk by tapping pillars in the library maze with the code 1-2-1-2-2-2-1-2-3-1-4-2-3-1 or by using a shortcut.^{[9]

As soon as you exit the library, turn right and go into the guard tower at the end of the path. Climb to the top of the tower and walk into the white particles to teleport to the third obelisk.^{[10]

Obelisk 4: Sunken Railways Use the portal to exit the room with the third obelisk. When you exit, walk toward the city, and take the next 2 rights. Fall into the sewer grate to enter the Sunken Railways. Follow the stairs and pathways leading down to the hidden fourth obelisk.^{[11]

- Keep track of the directions you went so you’re able to retrace your steps on the way out.
Follow the bright blue light to the island outside of New Kyrsa. Activating the obelisk causes 8 Lost Divers to spawn and attack you, so be prepared to fight them off or run away quickly.^{[12]
