Toca Boca World (formerly called Toca Life World) is full of secrets and surprises. There are hundreds of hacks to reveal these special easter eggs, but we’ve put together a few of our favorites in this article. We’ll also explain how to snag free items and discuss whether any of those “unlock everything” mods for Toca Boca actually work.

Toca Boca Hacks: Quick Overview

Toca Boca World is full of secrets and easter eggs that you can discover through exploration and trial and error. These include secret areas and special items. You can also get free gifts once a week by visiting the Post Office. There are mods that claim to unlock all items, but they may not be safe or effective.

To do this, look for a trail of breadcrumbs when you first enter the area. Follow the trail and look for an indentation in the ground surrounded by stains. Place a food bowl over the indentation to summon Croquet, a cloud-like critter that likes to hang around with Nari.

Summon a ghost sloth in the apartment on OK Street. This fun secret lets you manifest an unearthly visitor. To get the ghost sloth:
- On the first floor of the apartment building, grab a purple crystal ball from the triangular shelf next to the fridge.
- Bring the crystal ball with you to the second floor.
- Remove the painting from the wall over the coat rack. You’ll find a ouija board in the space behind the painting.
- Place the crystal ball and the ouija board close together on the floor and tap or click the board, and the ghost sloth will appear.

Get the secret Sloth Lord outfit. This secret is located in the Bop City storage area. Look for a “No Sloth” poster featuring a sloth under a rainbow. It’s at the far left end of the leftmost warehouse. Tap or click the poster, and it will roll up to reveal a secret compartment containing a Sloth Lord outfit.

Find the magical horse in the Stable Grounds Waterfall. This secret is located in the forested area of the Stable Grounds in Lettuce Lands. You’ll need to take several steps to reveal the secret:
- Look in the forest for a red raven wearing a ruby necklace, a frog with a crown, and a squirrel with a yellow triangle on its tail. Collect these animals and bring them with you.
- Go to the waterfall and set the animals down on the lily pads that feature the matching colors and symbols. From left to right, the order of the animals is raven, frog, and squirrel.
- The waterfall will stop flowing when the animals are placed correctly. Tap or click the crystal in the compartment behind the fall to reveal a magical horse and two fairies.

Reveal a secret disco club in Rob-O Café. This secret area is located in the café on OK Street. To get into the club:
- Go to the far right end of the conveyor belt and press the four buttons inside until they all turn pink. A pink key card will appear in a hidden compartment just below the conveyor belt.
- Tap the key, and a door will open to your right, allowing you into the disco club. The room contains bots and a bot suit, a lighted dance floor, and a DJ booth.

Get treasure from Toca Mall. The mall in Busy Street has several secrets, including coins you can use in other areas (like the Ski Resort Lodge). To find the hidden treasure:
- On the first floor of the mall, go to the ATM near the flower shop. Memorize the three symbols graffitied under the ATM (rocket, money, and heart-eyes emoji).
- Go to the photobooth phone and input the emojis. A secret compartment will open.
- Remove the propane torch to reveal the three-digit code (218).
- Go to the second floor and grab the red key card from the fish tank. Then, move over to the optometrist’s office and tap the eye chart. A secret compartment will open with a card reader inside.
- Insert the red key card into the card reader to open a secret room.
- Press the red buttons above the safe to enter the three-digit code you got on the first floor (218). The safe will open to reveal several stacks of money with a gold-colored gem hidden behind them.
- To find gold and silver coins, go up to the third floor and find a tree with several birds nesting in it. Remove the grey bird from its nest to reveal the coins. The other nests also contain objects (including another key card for the secret room on the second floor).

Find precious poo in the Ski Resort Lodge. This secret is located in Pom Pom Peaks. To unveil it:
- Tap the menu under the Chilly Buns food kiosk. Collect the silver and bronze coins under the menu.
- Feed the coins into the telescope to reveal silver and bronze poo.
- Want gold poo? Collect gold coins in the mall in Busy Plaza, then come to the Ski Resort and feed those into the telescope!
- You can also find a regular (brown) poo behind the spare toilet paper rolls in the bathroom.
This secret is located in Vox Valley. To find it, go to the pool with the waterfall and turn the flowers so the first two are pointing up and the second two are pointing down (from top to bottom). The waterfall will open to reveal a secret compartment with child and adult mermaid suits inside.

Find special crumpets at the Voxella festival entrance and stage. Crumpets are little dog and cat-like creatures that you can find throughout Toca Boca world. There are at least 99 crumpets in the game, so check out this video guide if you want to know where to find them all. You can find several of them in Vox Valley by going to the Voxella Festival area:
- At the festival entrance, open the case in front of the trailer at the left side of the entrance. You’ll find two robot crumpets and a wadded-up piece of paper inside.
- Unfold the paper to find a secret diagram.
- Go to the stage and input the code from the paper. To do so, push the blue circles on the stage in the order shown on the paper:
  - Tap the right-most circle 3 times, the left-most circle 2 times, and the middle-right circle 3 times.
- A mini stage with a DJ booth will appear. Press the blue button on the right side to make a blue hologram crumpet appear!

Visit the Post Office once a week for freebies. The Post Office in Toca World offers free gifts once a week, and sometimes more often around the holidays! You can find the Post Office at the bottom right corner of the Bop City map. Push the gold button with the present icon to the right of the welcome desk to get your gift.
- If the gift icon at the top of the post office is red, gifts are available. If the icon is grey, you’ve already claimed your gift(s) for the week.

Check for special events on the Toca Boca social media accounts. Sometimes the team will release special codes or information about how to claim free items.
- You can follow Toca Boca on Instagram, Facebook, and X. Find more information and a full list of Toca Boca’s official social media accounts here.
- To redeem item codes, click or tap the cogwheel icon at the top of the screen, then select the cat on the left. Enter the code, taking care to capitalize all letters correctly. Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the code.
These areas sometimes contain free stuff or news about special events where items will become available. To access the Portal, tap the blue icon with white sparkles at the top left corner of the game. To access the Shop, tap the green icon with the white shopping cart.
If you don’t have your phone set to install app updates automatically, check the Play Store or App Store for updates regularly. Updating your app will ensure that you have the latest content, which may include new free items or secrets!

Try these mods at your own risk. While there are numerous mods floating around that claim to unlock all the stuff in Toca Boca for free, reports about the safety and effectiveness of these mods are mixed. Some of them simply don’t work, and there’s always a risk that mods from unknown sources could infect your device with malware. Here are some things to keep in mind before you try one.
- Many users report that the safest way to unlock Toca Boca is by downloading a mod through the HappyMod platform. HappyMod is an alternative app marketplace that works on Android devices. To get it to work, you’ll need to install the HappyMod APK on your Android phone or tablet.
  - If you’re not sure how to install an APK, check out our detailed guide here.
  - Although the Toca Boca mod from HappyMod is alleged to be relatively safe, a lot of users report that it’s super glitchy and unreliable. You can see a summary of common issues with the mod here.
