  1. Heatblast is one of Ben’s fire aliens, says Karter.[1] He’s made of plasma and volcanic rocks and, as such, can create and control fire. Besides throwing fire blasts and balls, Heatblast can fly, absorb and put out flames, and melt rock and steel. Plus, he’s highly resistant to freezing temperatures.
    • Weaknesses: Uncontrollable heat/fire and extinguishing substances (water, wind, etc.)
    • Alien species: Pyronite

  2. Wildmutt is a giant dog-like alien who can’t speak and doesn’t have eyeballs, but he can “see” through his gills, explains Karter.[2] This gives the alien super-enhanced smell, taste, and hearing, allowing him to easily sense others’ presence and track people down. Plus, Wildmutt has incredible strength, a strong bite, and sharp claws, and is surprisingly agile.
    • Weaknesses: Inability to talk and sensitivity to sounds and smells
    • Alien species: Vulpimancer

  3. Diamondhead is one of Ben’s original aliens who can shoot crystals, says Karter.[3] He’s a green alien composed entirely of crystals, so it’s no surprise that it’s one of his main abilities! Diamondhead can also manipulate the shape his crystals take and control their trajectory. This extends to the crystals on his body, which he can use to create weapons out of his own limbs. Additionally, Diamondhead is incredibly strong and durable.[4]
    • Weaknesses: Sonic vibrations
    • Alien species: Petrosapien
  4. Karter notes that XLR8 is a velociraptor-looking alien who’s super fast (and one of her favorite aliens!).[5] In fact, he can run over 500 miles per hour (805 kmh) and is able to stay upright on walls and on water. All of his movements are fast, which means he can strike, react, and think quickly. XLR8 can also use his speedy powers in creative ways, like creating vortexes.
    • Weaknesses: Magnets and slippery or sticky surfaces
    • Alien species: Kineceleran
  5. According to Karter, Grey Matter is a small alien who looks like a frog. He’s super smart, so while Ben doesn’t always like getting him, Grey Matter can pretty much solve any problem.[6] It just takes a glance for him to understand complicated devices and machines and develop strategies. Plus, he has an innate knowledge of different languages.[7]
    • Weaknesses: Small size and virtually no offensive attacks
    • Alien species: Galvan
  6. Stinkfly is a big bug-like alien who shoots goo out of his eyes, says Karter.[8] The goo he produces has different properties, ranging from slime to acid, and produces different effects, like trapping enemies, holding large objects in place, lighting things on fire, and secreting toxic gas. Stinkfly also has wings that enable him to fly, and his exoskeleton makes him extremely durable to attacks.
    • Weaknesses: Wings are vulnerable to attacks and electricity
    • Alien species: Lepidopterran
  7. Because Ripjaws is a fish that needs to be in water, Karter says Ben doesn’t use him often. That said, he’s super fast in the water and has a big bite.[9] His teeth can slice through metal, and his jaw can completely unhinge. He’s also very strong and durable and capable of withstanding immense pressure underwater.
    • Weaknesses: Dry land, heat, and electricity
    • Alien species: Piscciss Volann
  8. Karter notes that Upgrade can upgrade any electronic device to make it cooler.[10] His body is made up of nanites, which allow him to possess any piece of technology, from machines to vehicles, and completely take it over. The nanites also have a liquid-like quality, enabling Upgrade to shapeshift, contort, and stretch his body. Additionally, his singular eye doubles as a weapon that can shoot an electrical beam.[11]
    • Weaknesses: Electricity, electromagnetic pulses, heat, and acid
    • Alien species: Galvanic Mechamorph
  9. As the name implies, Ghostfreak has ghost powers, says Karter.[12] He can make himself intangible and invisible, making him the perfect alien for stealthy missions. Ghostfreak's intangibility also allows him to pass through and possess enemies, either incapacitating them or controlling their movements. Additionally, he’s capable of flight, telekinesis, and telepathy.
    • Karter notes that Ben loses Ghostfreak as an alien during the series. This is because the alien actually becomes a sentient being![13]
    • Weaknesses: Substances that solidify him, more vulnerable in his tangible form
    • Alien species: Ectonurite
  10. Four Arms is an alien that, you guessed it, has 4 arms! He’s a huge, muscular red alien whose primary ability is his incredible strength, making him one of Ben’s most-used aliens. He can stand up to the most formidable foes in the series, easily throwing punches and physically throwing them around, and even creating shockwaves with his strength. Four Arms is also extremely durable and can withstand hefty attacks.[14]
    • Weaknesses: Large size and electricity
    • Alien species: Tetramand
  11. Cannonbolt is a bulky-looking alien that can actually roll up into a ball. The ball is meant for defense, as it provides Cannonbolt with virtual invulnerability and a speedy exit. But, Ben also uses this form to ram into enemies and create shockwaves.
    • Weaknesses: Clumsy and unable to roll over slippery and sticky surfaces
    • Alien species: Arburian Pelarota
  12. Wildvine is a plant-like alien who has powers over plants, communicating with them to trap and incapacitate enemies. He can use his vine-like limbs as weapons and extend them as needed. The pods that grow on Wildvine’s back are actually weapons that can cause explosions, release toxic gas, or grow additional vines. Additionally, the fly-trap appendage around his head can trap and hold foes.[15]
    • Weaknesses: Cold, electricity, and his vines can be overstretched
    • Alien species: Florauna
  13. Spitter is a puffer fish-looking alien whose main ability is to release a strong blast of slime after he inflates himself. The slime is slippery and acidic, which allows Spitter to knock back enemies quickly. He’s also amphibious, so he fares well on land and in water.
    • Weaknesses: Relatively weak compared to other aliens
    • Alien species: Sphoeroid
    • Note: Spitter is used by future-Ben (Ben 10,000) in Ben 10 and appears in the intro to Ultimate Alien, but Ben himself doesn’t ever use Spitter.
  14. Buzzshock resembles a battery and has electricity powers to match. He absorbs and stores electricity in his body and can then release it to attack. His powers also enable him to control any electricity around him (including electrical devices), duplicate himself, and fly.[16]
    • Weaknesses: Insulated materials and small size
    • Alien species: Nosedeenian
  15. Arctiguana is an ice-based alien who looks a bit like an iguana (hence the name!). He breathes ice beams that can freeze enemies and objects (including lava), as well as create objects out of ice. The beam is so strong that Arctiguana can also use it to propel himself backward.
    • Weaknesses: Needs to recharge after using his ice beams
    • Alien species: Polar Manzardill
  16. Blitzwolfer (previously known as Benwolf) is a hulking werewolf-like alien. He’s able to produce sonic howls that are strong enough to physically harm enemies and propel himself upward. Blitzwolfer’s wolf features also give him enhanced senses, jumping abilities, and strong fangs and claws.[17]
    • Weaknesses: Loud noises and his own muzzle
    • Alien species: Loboan
  17. The Perk-based Upchuck has a smooth, green, blob-like appearance. And his special ability involves his three tongues and giant stomach. Upchuck’s tongues are incredibly strong and long, allowing him to capture huge foes or objects and reel them in. He can then stretch his mouth open wide and swallow things whole, even if they’re larger than he is. Whatever Upchuck eats is turned into explosive matter that he vomits back up as weapons.
    • Weaknesses: Uncontrollable hunger and a slow, bulky body due to eating too much
    • Alien species: Gourmand
  18. Snare-Oh (previously known as Benmummy) is a mummy-alien who can control the “bandages” that make up his skin. He can use them to wrap and restrain enemies, lift and move objects, cut through things, and create defenses. Snare-Oh is also able to unravel his bandages to change his shape and fit into small spaces.[18]
    • Weaknesses: Heat, can be ensnared by his own bandages
    • Alien species: Thep Khufan
  19. Previously known as Benvicktor, Frankenstrike is another monster-based alien. He has the ability to generate and control electricity, like lightning, electrical waves, and energy beams. Plus, he’s very physically strong and durable.
    • Weaknesses: Energy absorption and large size
    • Alien species: Transylian
  20. Ditto is a small, rodent-like alien who has the ability to duplicate himself. The clones act independently, enabling Ditto to spread out his attack and overwhelm enemies or complete multiple tasks at once. When he’s done with his clones, Ditto can re-merge them all back inside himself.[19]
    • Weaknesses: Can’t transform back into Ben unless all clones are close
    • Alien species: Splixson
  21. Eye Guy is a unique-looking alien who has bat-like ears where his eyes should be on his head, and real eyes placed on his arms and torso. His eyes give him 360° vision, and he can combine his eyes to create one giant, protruding eye. Additionally, each of his eyes can release powerful blasts of energy, fire, ice, and electricity.
    • Weaknesses: Eyes are vulnerable to attacks
    • Alien species: Opticoid
  22. Way Big is the aptly named giant alien, who’s around 100 feet (30 m) tall! He’s one of Ben’s most powerful aliens, who can produce powerful cosmic blasts strong enough to destroy a planet. Given his size, Way Big is also incredibly strong, fast, and agile, and can use his strength and speed to create earthquakes, shockwaves, and vortexes.[20]
    • Weaknesses: Head frill that makes him vulnerable to attacks, electricity, and clumsiness
    • Alien species: To’kustar

  1. Swampfire is another plant alien who, interestingly, has fire powers! He can make plants grow and control them, using them to trap enemies or swing himself around. Swampfire also exudes methane gas, which he can ignite and use to shoot powerful blasts of fire.[21]
    • Weaknesses: Strong, unpleasant odor and inability to absorb fire
    • Alien species: Methanosian
  2. Echo Echo is a headphone-wearing robot-like alien who can produce incredible ultrasonic soundwaves. His sound waves can damage metal, divert projectiles off course, and create physical barriers. Echo Echo can also control sound itself, making things louder if he needs to. Plus, he can create duplicates of himself, amplifying his total powers.
    • Weaknesses: Fire and his screams can endanger his allies
    • Alien species: Sonorosian
  3. As his name suggests, Humungousaur is a giant dinosaur-like alien whose primary power is his humongous strength. He’s capable of taking on super-strong opponents and can create shockwaves and earthquakes by simply clapping or stomping. Because he can control his size, growing up to 60 feet (18 m) tall, he only gets stronger as he gets bigger.[22]
    • Weaknesses: Large size, electricity, and swimming
    • Alien species: Vaxasurian
  4. Jetray is a prominent flying alien from Ben’s roster who can fly faster than the speed of sound. He has pretty powerful weapons too—he can shoot energy blasts from his eyes and tail that immobilize and destroy enemies.
    • Weaknesses: Vulnerable to his own attacks and ineffective against mechanical beings
    • Alien species: Aerophibian
  5. Big Chill is a winged, moth-like alien who has icy powers. He can generate ice from his breath or palms and control it, creating structures that impede enemies or help him get around. Plus, his breath and palms can instantly freeze anything. Big Chill is also great for defense and stealth, as he can turn himself intangible and pass through opponents and objects.[23]
    • Weaknesses: Fire and electricity
    • Alien species: Necrofriggian
  6. Chromastone is another one of Ben’s aliens who is made entirely of crystal. This gives him the power to generate rainbow energy blasts and control their movement. Plus, he can absorb other types of energy and convert it into even more powerful energy blasts.
    • Weaknesses: Limited energy absorption
    • Alien species: Crystalsapien
  7. Brainstorm is a super intelligent crab-like alien, complete with pinchers for hands. His intelligence is beyond human comprehension, as he’s capable of figuring out things just by inspecting them and predicting enemies’ moves and motives. Brainstorm’s brain power is so immense that it generates electricity, which he can use as a weapon.[24]
    • Weaknesses: Headaches, vulnerable to his own electricity
    • Alien species: Cerebrocrustacean
  8. Spidermonkey is truly a spider-monkey alien hybrid, with the body of a monkey, 6 limbs, and multiple eyes. He can also produce webbing from his tail, which he uses to swing from, trap enemies, and create sling-shot weapons. Additionally, he’s strong, durable, agile, and has great reflexes.
    • Weaknesses: Electricity and he can get trapped by his own webs
    • Alien species: Arachnachimp
  9. Goop is a green, gooey alien who can completely contort his body because it’s entirely made of cytoplasm. He can stretch, bend, and change shape at will to better move around or fight against enemies. Plus, he can shoot his own cytoplasm as weapons and even make it acidic. His body also has defensive properties: he absorbs attacks easily and can protect other people.[25]
    • Weaknesses: His own anti-gravity projector
    • Alien species: Polymorph
  10. Alien X is a humanoid alien with a celestial appearance who’s undoubtedly Ben’s most powerful transformation. He has reality-warping powers and can create anything at will, including the universe itself, confirms anime expert Dianté Richard.[26] Plus, he’s nearly invulnerable, can teleport, shapeshift, and control minds, and has telekinesis. There’s a huge catch to Alien X’s immense powers, though. Every single action he does has to be agreed upon by the 3 personalities that control him—Ben, Serena, and Bellicus—which is much easier said than done![27]
    • Weaknesses: Requires agreement among his 3 personalities, magic, and other Celestialsapiens
    • Alien species: Celestialsapien
  11. This version of Upchuck is similar to the previous Perk version of Upchuck, except he has a more frog-like appearance. He has the same abilities, too: he has 3 tongues that can grab and lift huge objects and a super-wide mouth that can swallow them.
    • Weaknesses: Uncontrollable hunger and slow, bulky body due to eating too much
    • Alien species: Gourmand
  12. Nanomech is a metallic winged alien who’s super tiny. But that doesn’t mean he’s not powerful. Nanomech can generate beams of energy from his hands or eyes that blast back enemies. Plus, he can copy the abilities of his opponents. His small size also makes him useful for getting into tight spaces.[28]
    • Weaknesses: Small size
    • Alien species: Human/Microchip hybrid
  13. Lodestar is another metallic alien with claws for hands and feet. His unique abilities are to control magnetic fields and metal. This enables him to make things magnetic, attract things to him, and lift up objects (and swing them at enemies). He also has control over electromagnetism and can disrupt devices and machinery.
    • Weaknesses: Unattached head is vulnerable to attacks
    • Alien species: Biotsavartian
  14. Rath is a tiger-like alien who is another one of Ben’s physically strong transformations. His unique power is that he gets stronger the angrier he gets, though. He’s also an expert fighter, and his giant retractable claws and sharp teeth definitely help him take down opponents.[29]
    • Weaknesses: Uncontrollable anger, easily distracted, low intelligence, and water
    • Alien species: Appoplexian

    • Weaknesses: Electromagnetic pulses and bulky, slow body
    • Alien species: Chronosapien
  10. Juryrigg is a mechanically-minded alien who can take apart machinery and build it back up into something even better and more complex. He can also turn mere scraps into something useful and repair almost anything. Plus, he’s just smart in general![35]
    • Weaknesses: Lack of control over disassembling things and small size
    • Alien species: Planchaküle
  11. Shocksquatch looks like the legendary creature he’s named after and has electricity powers. He’s able to charge his body with static electricity and turn it into bolts of lightning, or simply shock anything he touches. His powers also enable him to move objects and create force fields.

He can also shoot his blocks as weapons.
    • Weaknesses: Acid
    • Alien species: Segmentasapien
  3. Gravattack is a rocky-looking alien who can turn into his own planet, so it’s no surprise he has the ability to control gravity. This enables him to levitate and move people and objects, as well as increase their specific gravity, crushing them. He can also slow down things and put them into orbit.[37]
    • Weaknesses: Potential to melt down and explode
    • Alien species: Galilean
  4. Crashopper is a grasshopper-like alien who, like the insect, has superb jumping abilities. His jumps also serve as attacks, creating massive, powerful shockwaves. He’s also super speedy and has a mean kick!
    • Weaknesses: Vulnerable to goo and not very durable
    • Alien species: Orthopterran
  5. Ball Weevil looks a bit like a weevil and can create balls of energy from his own spit. These balls absorb energy, which Ball Weevil can then decide to explode at any time. He doesn’t only have to create energy balls, though—he can also produce streams or blasts of energy.[38]

    • Weaknesses: Trouble staying upright and a relatively weak body
    • Alien species: Unknown
  9. The Worst looks a bit like a yellow blob, and given the name, he’s not the most useful of Ben’s transformations. His only real power is his indestructibility, which is due to his soft body. He can absorb and withstand physical and energy attacks that should knock out other aliens. However, he does feel the pain from the attacks!
    • Weaknesses: Feeling pain and virtually no offensive attacks
    • Alien species: Atrocian
  10. Kickin’ Hawk resembles a hawk and has a similar predator instinct. He’s Ben’s best hand-to-hand fighter, who easily gets the upper hand in close-combat fights. Kickin’ Hawk also has giant talons on his arms that help him fight.[41]
    • Weaknesses: Bird seeds distract him, and rubbing his neck puts him to sleep
    • Alien species: Unknown
  11. Toepick wears a huge armored helmet over his head, which turns out to be the source of his powers. When he takes off his helmet, his true, terrifying face is revealed, which taps into people’s subconscious fears.
