Discord Quests are tasks you can do to earn rewards on Discord. To complete a Quest, you'll usually just need to watch a video, play a game for a certain amount of time, or stream a game to at least one friend in a voice channel.[1] When you complete a Quest, you can earn Orbs, cosmetics, and even in-game codes. Most Quests can be started in the Discord mobile app, but some must be completed on a computer or console. In this article, we'll teach you how to find and do Quests in the Discord mobile app on your Android or iPhone, including video and desktop/console Quests. We'll also cover the rewards you can earn by completing these quests.
How to Do Discord Mobile Quests
In Discord, tap your account name at the bottom of the screen, then tap the Discord Quests icon at the top of your profile (it's the far-left button in the upper-right corner). Find a Quest you want to complete, then tap the button to do it. Some Quests must be completed on a computer or console.
Steps
Finding Discord Mobile Quests
-
Open the Discord app and tap your name at the bottom of the screen. There will be a small arrow next to your name, and you'll also see your icon and status at the bottom of the screen.[2]
- Make sure to tap on your name or profile picture. If you tap on the bell icon (also at the bottom of the screen), you'll be taken to your list of recent notifications.
- If you haven't updated the Discord app on your Android or iPhone in a while, update it before you continue. If you're missing some updates, you may not see Quests in the app.
-
Tap the icon of two laurels at the top of the screen. It's the icon on the far left in the upper-right corner. It's directly to the left of the store icon (which shows the front of a shop).
- The laurels icon almost looks like an "O."

Filter the Quests list. Once you tap on the laurels button, you'll be in the Quests menu. However, you can filter this list to make Quests easier to find.
- Tap the filter icon in the upper-right corner. It has an icon of some dials, and it's to the right of the Orbs icon.
- Choose how you want to filter Quests. Here are the options you have:
- Sort by: If you want to see the most recent Quests or Quests that are expiring soon, you can select these options under this section. You can also sort by the quests you've already started.
- Reward: Your options are Orbs, avatar decorations, and in-game rewards. You can select more than one.
- Quest Type: You can choose to sort by Quests that require you to play something and/or Quests that require you to watch something.
Completing Video Quests
-
Find the Quest you want to complete. Video Quests are simple: you just have to watch a video to get your rewards.[3]
-
Tap Watch. The button will also display the video's length. The videos can range from about 40 seconds to a couple of minutes.
- The amount of time you have to watch the video will show in the bottom-right corner, as a green loading bar around the Discord Quests logo.
- The video will pause if you switch to another app. It will resume when you switch back to the Discord app.[4]
-
Tap Claim Reward once you've finished the Quest. You may need to confirm you're not a bot before Discord will give you your rewards. Your rewards should be granted as soon as you finish the Quest.
Completing Desktop/Console Game Quests
-
Find the Quest you want to complete. While you can't complete game Quests on your phone, you can start them. Once you find a game Quest you want to complete, tap the Accept Quest button.
-
Choose how you want to complete the Quest. You'll be prompted to choose between Quest on Desktop and Quest on Console. If you have the game on your computer, pick the desktop option. If you have the game on a console, pick the console option.
- Sometimes, you'll find Quests that can only be completed on desktop or console. If you find these Quests, they won't ask which platform you want to Quest on. You'll simply see the Quest pop up at the bottom of the screen, and it'll say "Waiting for you to launch [game name] on desktop/console…".
- If you tap off of the Quest before launching the game, you can tap View requirements to select the platform you want to use.
-
Launch the game. You must make sure that your computer or console is connected to Discord before continuing, or you won't get credit for the time that you spend playing.
- If Discord is connected properly, you'll see a green notice at the bottom of your screen that says "[game name] Connected!".
-
Play the game for the allotted time. Your phone screen will tell you how many more minutes you have to play before you can claim your reward.
-
Tap Claim Reward once you've finished the Quest. You may need to confirm you're not a bot before Discord will give you your rewards. Your rewards should be granted as soon as you finish the Quest.
Completing Discord Game Quests
-
Find the Quest you want to complete. Once you find a Discord game Quest you want to complete, tap the Launch Quest button. These Quests involve completing a game within the Discord mobile app itself. You don't have to download anything extra to play them.
-
Authorize the game, if necessary. If the game asks permission to access your Discord account, tap Authorize. How the game will access your account will be listed on this page. If you're not comfortable with this, tap the "x" button in the corner, but you won't be able to complete the Quest unless you authorize the access request.
-
Play the game. Usually, you have to complete a specific level or play for a certain amount of time to get your reward. To view your progress, tap the Discord Quests icon (the laurels) at the top of the screen.
-
Tap the Discord Quests icon. Once you see a green circle around the Discord Quests icon, you've completed the Quest.
-
Tap Claim Reward once you've finished the Quest. You may need to confirm you're not a bot before Discord will give you your rewards. Your rewards should be granted as soon as you finish the Quest.
